Mitt första möte med Emine Sevgi Özdamar

Jag läser "The Bridge of the Golden Horn" av den turkiska författarinnan Emine Sevgi Özdamar.

" At the Turkish Workers Association only Rain and our communist hostel warden said "I". They went to the cinema together, then they came to the Turkish Workers Association, and Rain said: " I have seen a film, shall I tell you the story, the film is called The Silence, the director is called Ingmar Bergman." Then they both told the story of the film. They began together, but at some point each of the two said: No, it wasn't like that, let me tell how I saw it. They constantly interrupted one another, one stole the film from the other, and so we always saw two different films playing before our eyes. Only at the end, when they were finished with the story of the film, did they say together:" Bergman wants to show us that Europe has eaten shit".

Från sidan 31 "The Bridge of the Golden Horn", Emine Sevgi Özdamar.
